Map Based Search For Homes for sale in the Denver Neighborhood of Observatory Park

Denver's Observatory Park neighborhood is bordered by Iliff and Evans Avenues, and Milwaukee and Fillmore Streets. A popular gathering place for the students of the neighboring Unversity of Denver, Observatory Park is named after the Chamberlin Observatory, which was donated to the University of Denver by Humphrey Baker Chamberlin.

Chamberlin pledged $50,000 in 1888 to build and equip the observatory, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Chamberlin Observatory features a 1894 Alvan-Clark Saegmuller 20-inch refracting telescope.

Observatory Park is in an upscale area that offers residents several things to do, all within walking distance and via light rail and bus access, including movie theaters, grocery stores and shopping, and cafes and restaurants. It is also very easy to go downtown via the public transportation options.
